okay so we left for hong kong this morning (that's tuesday) and before we got here we had to get through like 12 hours of inflight movies in uncomfortable seats with not enough space for legs.

Bought a new book: White Teeth by Zadie Smith. Cover looks pretty. Should I read this first or We need to talk about Kevin first... Yes that is my biggest dilemma atm.

I've just realised that it's actually December now. We went on the road trip on the first and we started the day in such a hurry that I didn't think much of it and now it's all hitting me that this year is actually going to be over in a few weeks and it kind of scares me.

Usually a start to a new year would excite me rather, but this year one huge thing about why I'm scared is because you're not here. Makes me think back to when we started this year together. And now, you have to go in even before the year is over. Everything has been happening in such a haste lately it almost seems unreal. I do this thing over and over again where I wish it was unreal and you'd be back by my side but then I'm hit by the fact again. And I do it over and over.

I guess I'll just have to look at the bright side. And I will. I just need some time to get used to living without you. But trust me I can do it. And it won't completely be a life without you. I wouldn't even want to imagine a life without you. Really, it's only 22 months. By then we would be over a thousand days at least, and that excites me. I'll keep counting and everyday as I type in the next number on the counter on my screen, I'll be missing you.

Road Trip 09

Just got back from road trip around 2:30. Tired tired.

Lesson learnt: don't mix several types of alcohol and don't think it's ok to exceed the limits just because the bedroom's right there...

Just a ramble

Ky found these series of classic books that I think were newly printed, and the cover design is so pretty, as you see in the image, they have hard cover and little fabric flap thing for bookmarking, and the cover is in fabric too. Wowow. I want them but not the whole series because well I wouldn't read them, but I'd want Alice in Wonderland and and Little Women (which is not in the image, but is the prettiest !) but I'm not in the luxury of buying myself things atm because of the lack of income. So sad. I could apply for hardship so I can leech off the government but there's just so much paper work to do @_@

I decided to buy myself some Cadbury Bubbly chocolate. Cadbury chocolates have this smell that's not quite chocolatey but too sweet like honey and milk. Which I don't quite appreciate. It doesn't really feel so much like chocolate anymore. The taste is alright, but it's like not so different from normal milk chocolate block. I love the ads for it though : > so cute.

Not one of those miraculous life crap

'My Sister's Keeper', novel by Jodi Picoult which was made into a film, but since I haven't read the book, I want to talk about the movie. Although I love the plot so kudos for the writer but the directing itself was also quite satisfactory to me. Especially great great casting with the children. It really helps when you like the actors to begin with, it was odd with Cameron Diaz because well I've never seen any movies where she's not "young, hot, sexy" which I don't like.. because she's too old for it and it shows. But her being a mother is just odd, it was more convincing of her character when she's being all lawyer than when she was being a mother. It was sort of like, a young woman rushed into serious motherhood because of her daughter's disease. But who's to say someone like her can't be a good mother? Oh well.

Overall, I like it, it was the most touching movie I had seen in a long while. I like Alec Baldwin, I like Joan Cusack, Sofia Vassilieva, Abigail Breslin, and I like Thomas Dekker without hair more. Oh especially I like the ending. I like the fact that they mentioned all that miracle crap but it didn't happen, because miracle does make people happy but it's just not realistic enough. I need to read the book, but a while later so I'm not too influenced by the movie ahaha.

I want to read a GREAT book. I was liking Miss Pettigrew but it's getting too predictable, what is it? just because it's old or am I just reading too slow? Anyway, I better finish it tonight or tomorrow and find a GREAT book tomorrow. I still haven't finished In Cold Blood, but it's just too depressing.

I was watching 2pm's heartbeat video (for the first time : P yes very late) and realised, now that Jay's gone, they've kind of replaced his parts with WY. You know? how Jay and Junsu used to sing the chorus for ALL of the songs 2pm previously preoduced, and now it's wooyoung and junsu singing the chorus. At first I was all really proud, because they wouldn't give the parts to him unless they thought he was a good enough singer, but then I thought about it, see junsu wouldn't do it alone because it just doesn't sound that great alone and if you think about it, two of them are really just "rappers" and the other two aren't "great" at singing, so that just leaves wooyoung. Or maybe it's just my opinion, but I do do think he's grown to be a good singer, you can really tell the difference.

Anyway, wow at the video and the choreography. I love love love. They put too much make up on them though. They look orange on the stage -___-.

Reading 'Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day' by Winifred Watson, set in 1930s. It was made into a movie starring Frances McDormand and Amy Adams. I haven't seen the movie yet but Amy Adams suits her role perfectly I think, like in most of her other movies, which is rather impressive because you always see these group of actors that does roles that are pretty much like all the others.

But anyway, I'm imagining the movie won't be as good as the book, like it never is. I'm enjoying the book though, the kind of humour found in books set in similar times that doesn't deal with darker and deeper theme but simply making fun of class system and the role of women.

She was so young though. It's so weird, I've never had anyone I looked up to die before, it sort of feels like losing someone you know personally, but at the same time not really.

Maybe it was because she was so young, and so successful at such a young age. Although it seemed very much that she wasn't like anyone else her age.

I kinda wish it wasn't suicide but I'm almost convinced it was.

Remember my plans for the holidays?

I've achieved a little bit by watching 3 movies today.

1. Hensel & Gretel, thriller:

BAD BAD BAD. Too much crying, noob acting, repetitive lines, plot makes no sense. Hate movies where the whole thing throughout the movie turns out to be a dream. Isn't that like just a easy way to end the plot?

2. 7급 공무원, comedy action? :

mmm okay plot, okay funny, okay acting. I do NOT like 강지환.

3. 10억, thriller: SO GOOD. WATCH.

I had Frit's Wieners again today, but I forgot to take photos of it eheh

I never watch television, I use the TV to watch Friends DVDs on, and I decided to watch it today because Grand Design is on, it looks like a old man tv show because it looks like it would be one of those shows about fishing or golf... but anyway it's an interesting show okay!? Anyway, I was watching that and after that Panic Room was on ! omg ! So good. Exciting as.

Frit's Weiners best weiners ever. Don't ever take it away from me.

Anyway, after Panic Room, Ned Kelly came on lol. I was gonna sleep but nooo. But so far it looks little boring. And I can't understand them, their accents too thick...

Okay so exams are over, which means everything is over, so I'm completely free YAYAYAYAY. I wanted to congratulate myself and to celebrate a little bit, I gifted myself a pair of shoes : > Yes yes, I was going to not shop till I go to hong kong, but you know me, waiting is hard. And they were so cheap I couldn't help myself. And they're so pretty ! So here they are:

The laces are a little ugly though, and I wanted to replace them with black ribbons but I couldn't find any. I had white ribbon though, but it wasn't long enough and I wasn't sure if it would look good... Interesting story yes?? Anyways, aren't they cutttee?!

Oh, so about the exam. I had architecture history today, and two hours through the exam I really really needed to go to the bathroom and cus we were allowed to leave then I wanted to rush the essay and get out... So the last paragraph and the conclusion is a bit shit. I hope that doesn't make much difference in my grade T__T.
