밀알

The archis had our turn of 밀알봉사 today, it's a volunteer service for holiday programme at a korean church for kids (well, most of them were my age) with autism and other learning disabilities. I heard ages ago that austisic people didn't like or had difficulty communicating (not just verbally but body language-wise) but these kids were already used to the programme since they're pretty old now, and didn't seem that hard except when they go.. out of control.

Anyway, it was my first time so it taught me a lot. They don't have any problem learning things except that they're a little slower so what really stopped them from improving is descrimination. And they're so cute. Especially the one I was in charge of, he smiles a lot and pats your head : )

One thing I didn't like about today was how the teachers were really, well, typical korean christian people. They seemed really bummed that some of us didn't go to church. I mean, so what, that doesn't mean they don't have the heart to want to help out. It doesn't mean they're less capable of the job. And also how some old fashioned adults are, they ask you multiple questions and don't let you finish answering before asking another set of questions.

Anyways, it was good. I'd do it again.

Had Saika for dinner. DROOL.

Tired. Sleepy. I need how i met your mother season 3.

Just had to add this photo, it's just so funny ^^. Rahahaha Sorry John.
