Hot daayum

I don't know for sure but judging from her fame, Koda Kumi has been around for quite some time. I've always heard stuff about her on korean TV so I had an idea of her as something like Japanese equivalent of BoA? But I had never heard any of her music and so I decided to search some up few weeks back.

She is an amazing singer. The way she sings, you can tell that it's so natural, as if she was born to perform on stage. I watched a clip where she sang a dance song live, the dance wasn't too .. pumpy? so it wouldnt have affected her singing too much but still, she sang perfectly and at the same time keeping her facials.. tolerable for TV? It's pretty hard not to frown when you're using strength in your stomach to sing, I know because I frown a lot when I sing but she doesn't.

Anyway, my discussion is really leading nowhere but mainly, I wanted to say how amazing she is as a performer. And her voice is so my type, I prefer low husky female singers over squeaky girly voice any day.

I'm trying to learn one of her songs off by heart. And study the lyrics. I used to do this with Miyavi songs so I could read japanese, I remember... Heheh.
